Are you interested in discovering how cutting-edge technologies like Virtual Reality (VR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) can enhance teaching and learning in your department? The Teaching for Learning Center is excited to offer graduate students the opportunity to explore these transformative technologies and develop innovative educational experiences through our NextGen Tech Exploration Sandbox.

This program provides access to state-of-the-art VR and AI equipment in a self-exploratory environment where you can experiment, learn, and think creatively about integrating these technologies into your academic practice.

What You’ll Gain:

  • Hands-On Experience: Learn to use tools like Meta Quest, HTC Vive, and AI-powered learning platforms.
  • Self-Exploration: Experiment with VR and AI technology at your own pace and discover their potential to enhance learning in your field.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Connect and share ideas with other graduate students across disciplines.
  • Modest Stipend: Participants will receive a modest taxable stipend as part of their involvement.

This is a unique opportunity for graduate students from all departments. Whether you have prior experience or are entirely new to VR and AI, this program welcomes you to explore with an open mind.

We are currently accepting applications for this exciting program! The selection process will be a combination of reviewing student proposals and a first-come, first-served basis, depending on how many students we can accommodate. Spaces are limited, so apply soon to secure your spot!
